From Georgian Origins to a Place of Gathering

The story of the estate dates back to the 1600s, when the lands were known as Ralogh, before gradually evolving into the Boyne Hill we know today. The elegant Georgian house, built in the late 18th century, still stands as a reflection of timeless design, with its balanced proportions and understated charm. Over the years, Boyne Hill became known not only as a private residence, but as a place where people gathered to celebrate life’s important moments. One such occasion, recorded in 1855, saw over 300 guests welcomed to the estate for a remarkable celebration filled with music, dining, dancing, and fireworks, a tradition of hospitality and celebration that continues to define the house today.
