From the earliest emails with Katie, Claire, Catherine and others, to meeting Susan, Olivia, and Sara at reception, we felt cared for at every turn. Conrad and Elaine worked absolute wonders with our food and beverages during both the welcome dinner and the wedding - everyone raved about the food and the décor. And on the morning of the wedding, Linda’s calming presence and that first glass of champagne were exactly what my heart needed. Not having my parents there due to an illness was incredibly hard, but I never once felt alone or unsupported. They handled every request and every last‑minute change with genuine kindness. Thank you all for being so lovely.
And we have to say, Boyne Hill House has some of the strongest staff we've ever encountered. Seeing them carry heavy luggage up so many flights of stairs with a smile… they’re absolute rock stars (sorry that we had so many things!!).
The team made sure we were looked after in every possible way, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy our day without worrying about a single detail. If anyone is on the fence about having their wedding here - just go for it. You will not regret it for even one minute. We honestly couldn’t recommend Boyne Hill House enough. From the minute we first viewed it right through to the wedding day itself, everyone was so friendly, relaxed and easy to deal with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble which in turn made us feel so calm about everything. It also is an extremely dog friendly venue which was so important to us and our dog Frankie attended the wedding and had the best day!
We were unbelievably lucky with the weather on the day and the team did everything they could to help us make the most of it. Linda was especially amazing on the morning of the wedding, sorting umbrellas for the musicians and helping make sure we could still have our ceremony outside in the sunshine. We really appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were with everything. Claire was brilliant throughout the whole day as well. She was so calm and reassuring and just quietly kept everything running smoothly in the background. She also went above and beyond to help us do our speeches outside in front of the house, which ended up being one of our favourite parts of the day.
The whole day just felt so relaxed and easy, while at the same time you could tell the staff had absolutely everything under control. We genuinely felt so looked after from start to finish. The food was fantastic too and so many guests commented on both the food and the venue afterwards. With the weather we got, sitting in the secret garden honestly felt like being at a wedding abroad somewhere in Italy or Southern California. The atmosphere all day was just incredible.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Boyne Hill House. We celebrated over three days - a pre-wedding dinner with our immediate family, the wedding day itself, and Day 2 celebrations - and every single part ran so smoothly. The level of organisation and care from the team was just exceptional, and it meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment.
One thing that meant so much to us was how they went above and beyond to incorporate my husband’s Canadian traditions. They sourced ingredients and specially made Bloody Caesar cocktails and poutine for us, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.
The food across all three days was absolutely incredible and no one was ever hungry - something our guests are still talking about! The team were also amazing at anticipating our needs and taking care of things we didn’t even realise we needed, which made the whole experience feel effortless and stress-free.
A moment that really sums them up - on the morning of the wedding, my husband had an allergic reaction and his eyes were quite puffy. Without hesitation, someone ran to the shop, got a cucumber, and sliced it for him to put on his eyes. It’s that level of care and attention that truly sets them apart.

“I don’t even know where to start! From our very first viewing of Boyne Hill House with the drive up to the house, the walk around the Secret Garden and the Manor House to chatting with Sara, we knew straight away Boyne Hill House was the venue for us. Sara was with us from the very start, and met with us every time we came up to the estate for a walk around. She became more like a friend and made the entire wedding planning process so much fun and was so helpful with every aspect.
On the morning of, Linda was there to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed from coffees and pastries to the Prosecco! We had such a lovely morning in the bridal suite and the grooms pool room and it honestly felt like a dream. We did not have to think twice about anything on the day. All the girls were so attentive and helpful with everything including moving our belongings to the bridal suite, carrying my veil and bouquet to looking after all of our guests.
We were lucky enough with the weather to have an outdoor ceremony and our guests raved about the Secret Garden - the set up, the views and the atmosphere. It was honestly our dream wedding come true.
We can’t even begin to describe the food. After our meal tasting, we could not wait to have the food again. Every single one of our guests are still raving about it, it was truly extraordinary. We are both still dreaming of the red onion and goats cheese tartlet!

From the moment we drove into Boyne Hill House, we knew it was going to be our wedding venue. The whole place has a quirky, fun vibe and doesn't have the typical "wedding" feeling, it was just perfect for us!
From our initial viewing with Katie to then dealing with Sara who looked after us on the day, everyone was exceptional! Sara's professionalism, knowledge and easy going personality made us feel totally at ease and was there to answer any questions we had (to which I had many). I honestly felt like Sara had become our friend throughout the wedding process.
We opted for a pre wedding meal the night before our wedding for 20 of our closest family and friends and we could not recommend it enough. We truly felt like we were the most important people in the world and the team could not do enough for us and our families. The cocktails made in the bar were amazing and we were never made to leave like we had to wrap it up.
Our wedding day...there is only one word to describe it...magical✨ It was everything we could have imagined and more. The food, which our guests are still talking about was absolutely incredible, the team who went above and beyond and the accommodation, we could not fault anything. The grounds are stunning and have so many photo opportunities, regardless of the weather and time of year.
A couple of mentions to some of the amazing team who made our wedding day go off seamlessly. Linda...what a woman!! On the morning of our wedding, anything we needed, she was there and willing to do everything she could. She helped out so much with my nieces and nephew and even entertained them for a while so their Mam's could get ready. Thank you so much for making us feel at ease in the lead up to the ceremony.
A very special mention to Elaine, who I told many times on the day, felt like my second Mammy. She is an absolute superstar and words cannot describe how incredible she is at her job. We had shots planned for after the meal and a few weeks before the wedding, I found out I was pregnant!! At dinner, my maid of honour asked Elaine if there was anything she could do to replace the tequila rose that was in the bottle, to which she replied "leave it with me". She then appeared a while later and had melted strawberry ice cream to put into the shot bottle so that I could still join in on the fun! The thoughtfulness, care and love that she has for her job is something I have never experienced before. You are a credit to Boyne Hill House, Elaine and will forever be a huge part of the memories we have from our special day.
